FCA Sports Coaches Highlight 🔥 Summer Rusher - FCA Sports Soccer Coach @england_rushie ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚽️ Playing: Coach Summer has played soccer her whole life and started playing organized soccer when she was five. She played club until she was 18 and four years of varsity soccer at high school, then played at Southeastern University for four years. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚽️ Coaching: For three years in high school, Summer coached a U10 co-ed rec team at her local club (Englewood Rays). She has also coached the middle school girls and boys soccer teams at Grace Lutheran and the middle school girls soccer team at Lakeland Christian. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚽️ FCA Sports: « I’m excited to combine my 2 favorite things: soccer and Jesus! Sep 8. 2023 - Evan Carter gets called up by the Texas Rangers. That day, Carter wore a ‘Jesus Won’ Shirt Arizona FCA gave to the players during spring training. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Carter later partnered with FCA Arizona to sell personalized shirts to help raise money for a great cause of his choice. MEET THE DIRECTOR • JAY BUTLER ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Before joining the FCA Team, Jay Butler coached for 22 years (all three NCAA levels + the NAIA), Women’s Basketball Coach for 20+ years (Columbia University - 8 years, Brown University - 5 years), Coached Men’s and Women’s Tennis for 4 years NCAA Division III Collegiate Athletic Director for 11 years 20+ years of affiliation with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as an Area Director, Huddle Leader, Camp Coach, Board Member, and Donor ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ « I am excited to build the West Polk FCA Sports Ministry. Youth sports are a very important part of the family unit in Polk County.
